100% Mourvèdre. Aged 28 months in 30% new French oak.
What a beautiful wine this is - deep red hinting at purple. The aroma has savory gamey notes and also
tempts you with herbs, ripe plums, warm baking spices, leather and bright red berries. It keeps on
giving with flavors of licorice, lots of red fruits, cracked black pepper and again, those ripe plums. This is
the wine to grab when you are having game or well marbled cuts of meat to balance the tannins in this
wine. It goes well with all cheese but especially those like Stilton or Roquefort and all of their richness.
